Here is some info. on Sports Club LA, located on East 61st between 2nd and 1st Aves. I haven’t reviewed it because it’s both a long commute and too pricey for me. But if I lived around the corner or anywhere on the east side, I’d sure be tempted. Beautiful club, nice courts, friendly squash community vibe. Some good friends of mine are quite happy there. The below offers were good as of December 23rd, 2010, so better double check with the club for up-t0-date pricing.
EXECUTIVE MEMBERSHIP:
Standard initiation: $1575
Promotional initiation: $250 for Printing House members
Monthly dues: $320
With this membership you can book in advance, get unlimited play, a personal locker, daily laundry, and use any SCLA club.
HEALTH MEMBERSHIP:
Standard initiation: $800
Promotional initiation: $85 for Printing House members
Monthly dues: $175
With this membership you cannot advance book but you can play without paying court fees whenever there are empty courts, round robins or you play an Executive member.
